Homeless

Well, its that time again. . .the Cryers are moving for the sixth time in less than six years! The packers came Tuesday and Wednesday and the movers packed it all in a semi yesterday. We're well on our way to becoming Texans! We close on the new house in just over a week and in two we'll be starting our long drive to the Lone Star State. We'll be staying with Ryan's parents in Ozark until we head out for good. I'm no longer working (HOORAY!), so I'm free to hang out with whoever wants to catch up before I'm out of here! I will post a new baby bump picture in the next few days. . .Caroline's really growing! =)

21 weeks

IT'S A GIRL!!!

It's official! We're having a baby girl! We had a fetal anatomy scan yesterday at our 20 week appt. We couldn't see at first since the baby's feet were near my cervix, but with some poking, prodding and shaking our baby gave us the "money shot" we were after. It's a girl! Miss Caroline Elizabeth's measurements were all wonderful including her VERY long legs! Her legs measured 2 1/2 weeks more than our current 20 weeks. She must get those long legs from her daddy. =) The ultrasound tech also said she had a beautiful head! Pictures follow! =)

New House Pics

Trip to Texas

As many of you know, Ryan and I flew to Texas for six days (April 10-15) to look for a house. We looked at more than 50 properties in 3 days and we finally found the perfect house! We picked a brand new 2100 square foot custom home in Killeen. It has 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, oak cabinets, granite countertops, carpet and ceramic tile flooring, a beautiful back patio and lots more! We made an offer the Saturday morning we were in Texas, but it took us and the builder 5 days to come to an agreement. Ryan's quite the deal maker! =) We'll close in June. . .just days before we're set to move in! I wanted to post some pictures, but Ryan's computer died an untimely death. As soon as he gets the new one up and running, I'll post some photos! Stay tuned! =)

It's a. . .

mystery! We had our 16 week OB appointment today and hoped to find out if Baby C was a little boy or a little girl. No definitive answer. The ultrasound tech just couldn't be sure. She said we'd have better luck at our next appointment. Hopefully Cinco de Mayo will be our lucky day! Check out the ultrasound pics from today. . .our baby is definitely growing! =)

Busy Weekend

Man, what a weekend! We had Ryan's graduation ball Friday night, I co-hosted a baby shower with Stephanie Koontz for Nadia Duncan on Saturday, and we attended Emma Koontz's dedication Sunday morning. It was busy, but so much fun! Jenny and Eli Thorson spent the weekend with us to share in all the festivities. It was fun to have a little one in the house. . .I guess we should be getting used to it since ours will be here in less than 6 months! =)
